Course Description:
Spain is the origin of an international language as well as the rise of an international civilization comprised of the concept of Hispanidad or Hispanosphere. Speaking Spanish means getting a passport to a world of opportunities for both, personal and professional growth in all areas of life. It means to be approached into a new understanding perspective of the universal history.
A new comprehension of the foundations of a whole civilization, with its paradigms, clichés, and false stereotypes. It means understanding its characters, folks, legends, and the social and cultural patterns shared by far more than 500 million people worldwide. Because you cannot understand a language without understanding its cultural references, studying at the same time Spanish language and the history of Spain will let you be introduced not only in Spanish culture but among Americas and Mediterranean cultures too.
